摘要
During the research on solid-fuel ramjet (SFRJ), it is an important link for the design and experiment of SFRJ that a suitable mathematical model is built to simulate its internal work process. The calculations of the two-dimensional axisymmetric reacting turbulent flow are made with the Fluent, combined with ethylene three-step model employing the EDC model for combustion modeling and the 2-equation (k-epsilon) model for turbulence modeling. Results from cold-flow field show that two recirculation zones of inlet air are formed respectively after the inlet sudden-expansion step and throttle plate as burning maintenance device that are beneficial to combustion. And the length of recirculation zone has much to do with the height of inlet step and axial velocity. Furthermore, a reduced chemical reaction mechanism is established and the regression rate is the main parameter investigated in this study. The effects of the inlet air mass flux and total temperature of air on the regression rate are presented and discussed. Increasing the inlet air flux and total temperature of air leads to a more complete combustion process, implyingin higher regression rates. The research validate the numerical code describing the flow and combustion and the conclusions are available for more precise design and experiment of SFRJ.
