National geographic information strategies: A review

摘要
Many countries are taking steps to develop and implement national geographia information strategies or national spatial data infrastructures to provide a base for GIS applications. The paper reviews recent experience in this respect with reference to three key elements. the creation of coordinating bodies: the establishment of core data sets, and the development of meta data services. It drawn largely upon the experience of Tour countries. Australia. Britain, the Netherlands and the United States.
