摘要
Only 4% of the energy density in the Universe consists of ordinary matter. 2/3 could be in the form of unknown Dark Energy, and 1/3 is Dark Matter (DM). Is this DM due to yet unidentified baryons (in molecular hydrogen, cosmic dust, brown dwarves, black holes,...) or to non-baryonic elementary particles, such as neutrinos, or other unknown particles like the axion or the supersymmetric LSP version of the Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs)? If WIMPs are the Dark Matter in the Galaxy, how can they be detected? This paper briefly reviews the current status of some searches for this dark component of the Universe.
