摘要
This study focuses on the structure and characteristics of university students' attitude towards Chinese Dream. We developed the questionnaire of university students' attitude towards Chinese Dream (USACD) according to the psychometric procedure and then collected data with the USACD in the universities in Jinan, China. From analysing the responses of 367 university students, we divided USACD into three dimensions, including "Emotion and Behavior of Chinese Dream" (EBCD), "Cognition of National Affairs" (CNA) and "Cognition of Livelihood Issues" (CLI). This structure was justified by a confirmatory factor analysis with responses from other 810 university students of 4 universities in Jinan, and the results indicated a satisfactory goodness-of-fit. Reliability coefficients (Cronbach's a) ranged from 0.869-0.913, supporting the reliability of the USACD. The three dimensions of USACD reflected the historic and realistic characteristic of Chinese Dream. Furthermore, the main factors that affected students' attitude were gender and maternal educational background. In conclusion, the questionnaire (USACD) is reliable and valid, in line with psychometric standards, and can be applied to measure University Students' Attitude towards Chinese Dream in the related studies. In addition, the result of our study is helpful for policy making in the governments and universities which want to improve attitude towards Chinese Dream.
