Research on Mobile College English Teaching Strategies Based on New Media

Taking college English teaching as an example, the traditional teaching methods have become incompatible with the development of new media technology. With the continuous advancement of teaching reform, College English teaching reform is imperative. With the rapid development of the Internet, the upgrading of mobile devices and the continuous enhancement of people's life-long learning, mobile learning is rapidly integrated into people's learning life with its unique advantages. English learning based on network and multimedia can make learners break up into parts, make full use of their spare time, break the limitation of time and space, and integrate English into real life. Due to the limited teaching conditions, there are still some problems in stimulating students' interest and improving students' practice and innovation ability in Colleges and universities. This paper takes college English Teaching under the background of new media era as the research object, briefly analyzes the existing teaching problems, and puts forward effective suggestions, aiming to provide certain reference for relevant education work.
