摘要
A four-detector (4 x 500 mm(2)) low energy Germanium detector array has recently been acquired for use in a Cd-109 source K-shell X-ray fluorescence bone lead measurement system. In this paper, system calibration results are presented, along with preliminary measurement results using lead-doped bone phantoms. Measurement uncertainty and reproducibility values are noted. System comparisons are made with our conventional (1 x 2000 mm(2)) detector system, and future directions outlined. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
