摘要：
PIM refers to the planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and controlling of product innovation, which is both the starting point and end result of PIM. Effective PIM is essential for product innovation. The paper presents a systematic study on research and practice of PIM based on the status quo of PIM in China. It predicts the development of PIM and alms to provide suggestions for promoting PIM in China.
