TEACHING DIDACTICS AND THE ROLE OF TEACHER EDUCATORS IN THE CONTEXT OF PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICES: WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?

摘要
This article discusses the role of teacher educators in the teaching of Didactics as a teaching science; a knowledge/branch of knowledge, with its pedagogical practices used as reference. This research, of a theoretical nature, is based on the assumption that the pedagogical practices of these teachers are key instruments for the professional development and pedagogical training of undergraduate students. From the central question - what is the role of teacher trainers in teaching didactics in undergraduate courses in the context of pedagogical practices? - what is the role of teacher educators in teaching Didactics in licentiate courses, with their pedagogical practices used as reference? - it is argued that the teaching of Didactics and the understanding of and on Didactics, as commitments of all teacher educators, deserve special attention, so that the pedagogical training of students is effectively cultivated with quality.
