Spreading of chain-like liquid droplets on solids

摘要：
In this paper, the microscopic models related to spreading are reviewed. Using, in particular, molecular dynamics for chain-like liquid droplets, it is shown that numerical simulations provide a very useful tool to obtain an understanding of the experimental observations, in agreement with the de Gennes-Cazabat model.
