摘要：
Allein in den USA erleiden pro Jahr mehr als 10000 Neugeborene infolge einer perinatalen Asphyxie eine hypoxisch-ischamische Enzephalopathie. Bislang stellt die therapeutische Hypothermie fur diese Kinder die einzige Behandlungsoption mit erwiesener neuroprotektiver Wirkung dar. Verbessert die zusatzliche Gabe von hochdosiertem Erythropoetin die entwicklungsneurologische Prognose der Betroffenen?
