Parametric superfluorescence excited in sodium vapour by Bessel beams

摘要
The investigation results of the parametric superfluorescence excited in sodium vapour by two Bessel beams of different frequencies are presented. A significant improvement of the spatial coherence of parametric superfluorescence was experimentally observed. It is demonstrated that for a fixed range of pump cone angles excitation of low divergence radiation along the pump cone axis is possible. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
