摘要：

The one of important theme of the day is sustainable development and Environmental protection. Public green procurement, as one popular policy tool has been used by government to promote environment protection and sustainable development. Chinese government established its public procurement system only in the late 1990 and has moved to implement green procurement since 2004. This paper will examine the brief history of public procurement programs in China and discusses the issues in its implementation, and make suggestions as to how to use green public procurement more effectively. This is one of the first paper examining China's green public procurement program.
