摘要
A series of Erbium (1-11 mol %) ions activated Barium titanate (BaTiO3) nanophosphors were synthesized by solution combustion method using urea (CH4N2O) as a fuel. The final product was well characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), scanning electron microscopy. The PXRD results confirmed the tetragonal phase. From DRS the E-g was estimated and found to be in range of 3.22-3.26 eV. The average crystallite size was calculated using Scherrer's equation and Williamson Hall (WH) plots and found to be in the range of 20-30 nm. The present method was simple, economical and faster suitable for display device applications (c) 2018 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
