摘要
Fungicides against plant pathogens have negative impact on human and environment. For this reason, nontoxic and environmental friendly new alternative methods against plant pathogens have speeded up development efforts. In the present study, plant extracts against economic plant pathogens were tested. The study investigated methanol and n-hexane plant extracts of five plant parts (leaves, fruits and seeds) against three economic plant pathogens (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Monilinia fructigena and Alternaria solani) under in vivo and in vitro conditions. Different doses of 100, 500 and 1000 mg/ml were used. Antifungal activities were evaluated as mycelial growth inhibition (in vitro) and on different plant materials (in vivo). Among the methanol and n-hexane extracts from different plant parts A. solani was the least affected, followed by S. sclerotiorum and M. fructigena. Highest antifungal activities were observed from the extracts of C. mas plant, followed by P. laurocerasus, M. nigra, M. alba and R. canina. Both in vivo and in vitro study results showed similarity. According to these results, natural antifungal sub stances are cheaper than synthetic fungicides and they could be suggested to be used against plant pathogens due to their less harmfulness to the environment.
