摘要
Entrepreneurship plays a notable role in aiding the national economic development. In line with this, the Malaysian government has intensified its focus in an effort to facilitate the entrepreneurial ecosystem. However there is still limited study found to explore the whole issue of entrepreneurial ecosystem of the country. Thereby, this study is conducted to reveal Malaysia entrepreneurs' concerns on the domains of entrepreneurial ecosystem in Malaysia. Based on the qualitative method, in particularly open-ended interview involving 131 entrepreneurs, this study has indicated that the component of Financial Resource received the highest concern among the respondents, followed with Local Market, Government Policy, Human Capital, Entrepreneurial Networking, Support Services, Entrepreneur Culture, International Market, and lastly, Political Network. Findings on extent of concerns on the components and the corresponding themes are expected to benefits policy makers and scholars to understand the actual phenomenon among Malaysia entrepreneurs.
