摘要
Geoid modelling is one of the geodetic domains that create interest among specialists. A quick solution for the determination of a (quasi)geoid in GIS application is to use the geometric modelling. In this case, the modelling will consist in the determination of the parameters in a polynomial regression, using the anomaly of the altitude calculated from ellipsoidal and normal (orthometric) altitudes. The geodetic works imply GNSS and geodetic leveling, or using points that already have altitude determined in both systems. The regression parameters could be then used in any GIS application where the goal is to make quick and easy analyses regarding digital elevation models and environmental projects. The precision of the model depends of the precision of the measurements and the order of the polynomial regression. In the paper, a case study for the Romanian territory will be presented.
