摘要
This paper aims towards solving the problem currently available barrier-free shoes are not able to meet when it comes to the needs of people with lower limb disability. For this purpose, research is carried taking into account their demands for easy wear (putting clothes on and off), comfort, stability, protection, etc. Based on the physiological characteristics of their feet and the principles of barrier-free design, the design scheme proposed aims to enhance comfort and optimize the design system of barrier-free shoes. Finally, the test designed shoes were distributed to volunteers with lower limb disability in order to receive valuable feedback information based on which the design could be improved. Apart from fulfilling the physiological and psychological requirements, the design scheme presented in this paper could also provide for a more efficient and feasible design direction for the market, which has certain added value for further development and application.
