Application of lacbed in structural characterisation of ordered intermetallics with L12 superstructure

摘要
The efficiency of structural transformations from D0(22)/D0(23) to L1(2) long range order has been studied on ordered intermetallics Al3Ti+(Cr or Mn) and Al3Zr+(Cr or Mn). Comparison with Ni3Al compound with perfect L12 superstructure was done. TEM investigations were performed on JEM 3010 (300kV) Jeol microscope equipped with Gatan SS CCD camera. Conventional TEM studies', CBED and HRTEM methods were used to elucidate the structure of the alloys. For advanced studies of coherency and symmetry determination large angle converged beam electron diffraction (LACBED) method was employed.
