Study on the relationship between innovation, corporate governance and performance of private enterprises - An empirical analysis of 100 private enterprises of Fujian Province

This paper provides an analytic framework of the relationship between innovation and corporate governance of private enterprises, and conducts an empirical study on the relationship between innovation and performance of private enterprises based on the data collected from 100 private enterprises of Fujian Province. The findings of the study suggest a rather complicated relationship between innovation input and profits of private enterprises. The enterprise profits seem to come more from labor, rather than from capital or technological input.
