Specification and modelling of time-window mechanisms for the FIP fieldbus

摘要
This paper introduces specification techniques to express temporal constraints in communication systems, and presents a model to elaborate temporal statuses generated by a state-machine. The state-machine qualifies variable values, exchanged between distributed tasks. The proposed mechanisms applied to the FIP fieldbus shows how to elaborate refreshment, promptness and freshness FIP temporal statuses by invoking the previous general state-machine.
