Coherent atom-tetramer conversion: Bright-state versus dark-state schemes

摘要
The molecular tetramers can be created in an atomic Bose-Einstein condensate via a bright-state or a dark-state (dimer- or trimer-state-intermediated) scheme. Only the later scheme, realized by the Efimov-resonance-assisted stimulated Raman adiabatic passage, permits the existence of a generalized atom-molecular dark state and thereby leads to stable atom-tetramer conversion.
