摘要
In order to investigate the corrosion and fatigue behaviors for structural steel members at the boundary with concrete, accelerated exposure tests and fatigue tests were carried out on model specimens consisting of a steel plate and a concrete block. The specimens were exposed in environment chamber, which is controlled by S6-cycle corrosion test conditions, during 150, 300, 450, and 600 days, respectively. After removing corrosion productions, the geometry of corroded surface of the steel plates was measured by a Laser Focus Measuring Systems, and fatigue tests of the corroded steel plates were performed. The measured geometric data represented time-dependent thickness loss and corrosion depth of the steel plates. Based on the results of fatigue test, relationship between testing period, corrosion depth and fatigue life was evaluated.
