摘要
In this paper discusses the design process of a system. This system can adjusted timing case of the traffic lights, that according traffic flow situation in fact at the crossroads. We use AT89C52 as the main controller in this system, and calculate the number of vehicles at each intersection by the vehicle detector that set up in the each crossroads. Congested road can be permitted pass and free road will be closed in time. Change the traditional fixed timing plan, and improve the traffic capacity, Using the road resource fully, to make the traffic more unobstructed.
