Statistical analysis of experimental parameters in selective laser sintering

摘要
The utility applicability and experimental parameters of a statistical technique called selective laser sintering (SLS), are presented. SLS is rapidly growing technique for Rapid prototyping and Rapid manufacturing, where powders are consolidated by laser beam to produce 3D parts. Hardness, density and surface roughness measurements were carried out to identify the mechanical properties of laser sintered products. The significant parameter that affect SLS process are scan speed, layer thickness, scan spacing, laser powder, powder size, scanning strategy and so on.
