摘要
The goal of this paper is to analyze and evaluate the reform processes of public administration in the Czech and Slovak Republic. Public administration in both countries has undergone many changes. All reforms should achieve optimal public administration functionality. It is very closely related to the approach to the citizens and their greater satisfaction with work of the state apparatus. Public administration is an area that is constantly changing and I will try to focus on essential elements of these changes. One of the aims of this contribution is to explain the individual phases of the reforms through analysis. Time interval is defined since 1989. Hypotheses should suggest various solutions to current problems. I would like to aim also at the changes that have occurred in order to decentralize and democratize the state administration. However, there are some deficiencies and problems with the transformation of the territorial administration in both countries. A great deal of the development of public administration has its electronization. First step is the introducing of e-Government. This system makes the state management more efficient, faster, more economical and more convenient.
