摘要
We found an incidence of permanent complications to be 0.5% and transient complications of 5.0%. from hip arthroscopy. Most complications of hip arthroscopy are related to distraction of the I-Lip joint and fluid management. They result in transient neuropraxias of the femoral, sciatic, lateral femoral cutaneous and pudental nerves that resolve in two to three days. Intrapelvic or intraabdominal fluid extravisation occurred during prolonged cases and extraarticular surgeries such as iliopsoas release and may require paracentesis. Neither of these complications resulted in permanent problems. Cartilage scuffing and AVN are reported here as permanent damage.
