摘要：
This thesis attempts a study of John Fowles' views on nature and women in The French Lieutenant's Woman from the ecofeminist prospective. It explores the ecofeminist consciousness revealed in the novel and helps readers to understand the novel from a new angle. The study proves that the novel encourages people to improve their ecological consciousness and to learn about women's freedom.
