摘要
This paper proposes energy harvesting system using shock absorber vibration. The proposed energy harvesting system is consist of power converter and linear electromagnetic generator. The power converter is using active power control scheme to obtain the electric energy through the linear electromagnetic generator at vehicle shock absorber. Active power control scheme is achieved by maximum power point tracking (MPPT) using perturb and observe (P&O) algorithm and operated in the current controller of a synchronous buck converter. The power converter with the control scheme can actively convert the vibration and shock of a linear electromagnetic generator to electrical energy while driving. The generated electric power can be directly transmitted to the battery, and the damping force of the shock absorber can be adjusted by the controlled current of the linear electromagnetic generator. The high performance of the proposed energy harvesting system was verified through the simulation.
