Enhancing the Soft Power of Urban Culture in Shenzhen: An Academic and Cultural Construction Perspective

摘要
With an increasingly humanized during the urban development nowadays, the strength of the soft power of culture has become an important benchmark measuring the level of a city-grade and competitiveness, but the real high-grade culture is from the science and culture, so developing the academic and cultural construction would benefit the enhancement of the soft power of urban culture. Therefore, started from the perspective of academic and cultural construction, this paper analyzed the situation and problems during the academic and cultural development in Shenzhen and made an analysis of the level of soft power of urban culture, and then combined with the development strategy of "building up a city by culture" in Shenzhen to put forward some measures and suggestions that it enhanced the soft power of urban culture by strengthening the construction of the science and culture in the future for Shenzhen: (1) government, industry, academia, and all the people should perform their duties and work together to consolidate a good basis for urban culture; (2) it should also introduce cultural talents and form a high-quality personnel; (3) else in the construction of the academic-culture: it should create a vibrant academic institutions to develop some very influential achievements, and thus build the prototype to enhance the soft power of culture, in which the city had rich cultural soil, high-quality talents and prosperous science and culture. At last, this paper expected to provide some basis for decision making when Shenzhen is building an international metropolis.
