Research of transient flow measurement in a differential pressure method

摘要
A differential pressure method for flow measurement in hydraulic system is discussed. By using a MEMS (Microelectromechanical System) sensing element and removing oil induce pipes the response frequency of the sensor is improved. The relationship between flow rate and differential pressure is analysed and simulated with CFD software. Static measurement is calibrated with a turbine meter and results in good linearity. And a 16.7H oil flow generated by a piston pump is detected. Pressure waves verified its validity. This sensor can be developed to trace power flow in fault diagnosis and to do flow feedback control in many occasions.
