摘要：

We propose a novel method to enhance the bandwidth of plastic optical fiber with a multi-step core by forming a graded-index tore through thermal diffusion in the performance stage. The numerical stimulation results indicate that the bandwidth (of the optical fiber can) be significantly enhanced by this method. (C) 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
