摘要：

A taxonomic survey was carried out for enlisting the endemic species of genus Astragalus in Azad Kashmir, Chitral and Northern Areas of Pakistan. After 6 detailed field study and search into the record maintained in Herbaria of NARC and Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, Seventeen endemic species of Astragalus were being recorded in total, 8 species from Chitral, 2 from Occupied Kashmir, 4 from Northern Areas, 1 from both the Northern Areas and Occupied Kashmir, 1 from Azad Kashmir and 1 from Gilgit.
