摘要
In order to obtain information about the deep traps which are responsible for the supralinear part of the dose response of peak 4 in the glow curve of LiF:Mg,Ti the pre-dose sensitisation of peak 4 was investigated. It is to be expected that peak 4 can be sensitised when the readout end temperature is lower than the emptying temperature of the deep traps. However, no sensitisation of peak 4 for readout end temperatures as low as 200 degrees C could be detected. This remarkable result is discussed with respect to a partly interactive trap system (PITS) model. It is shown that this model cannot explain the result. It can be explained when the PITS model is extended with an additional recombination centre with a low recombination probability.
