摘要
We study the corrosion inhibition of duralumin alloy by a natural polymer, namely, guar gum. It is shown that the corrosion inhibition efficiency of this inhibitor in a 0.1% sodium chloride solution becomes much higher in the case of its combination with tartrate salt in a single composition. According to the results of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and X-ray energy dispersive microanalysis of the surface of alloy, in a corrosive solution inhibited by a "guar gum + tartrate salt" composition, we observe the formation of an adsorption film guaranteeing a degree of protection of the metal higher than 90%. The investigated inhibitory composition efficiently acts upon the mechanically activated surface of duralumin alloy, which makes it promising for application under the conditions of tribocorrosion.
