READINESS FOR E-LEARNING

E-learning has become an important way of transferring knowledge in modern society. Despite the growing interest for e-learning, both from educational institutions and potential participants, there are still some important impediments in e-learning process. Often addressed issue by theoreticians and practitioners is participant's readiness for e-learning, since e-learning represent radically new way of learning in comparison to traditional education. In the frame of participant's readiness for e-learning the paper addresses the impact of participant's personal values on participant's preferences about information-communication technology. Hypothesized model about the impact of selected personal values of students on their preferences about information-communication technology is in-depth examined in paper.
