摘要
In this letter complementary split ring resonator is proposed to design compact highpass filter. Highpass filtering is obtained by overlapping a left-hand and a right-hand (RH) transmission hand. A fabricated prototype filter having cut-off frequency (f(c)) of 1.8 GHz shows a maximum passband insertion loss less than 1.3 dB up to 3f(c). Implementing area of the filter is smaller than 0.08 lambda(g) x 0.09 lambda(g), lambda(g), being the guided wavelength at f(c). (C) 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
