We study extrapolation spaces generated by the Banach scales of L-p and L-p,(infinity)-spaces defined on [0, 1]. We give new extrapolatory descriptions for the Marcinkiewicz and the Orlicz-Lorentz spaces. Using interpolation of sublinear positive operators, we also prove interpolation embeddings for extrapolation spaces. (C) 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
