To innovate and to communicate: the journal "Technology and Construction"

In this article one presents the experience and path of the journal Technology and Construction, which center of interest is the research and development (R&D) in the field of the construction. It is a question of a scientific - technological Venezuelan journal that was created in 1985. In the text there is analyzed the importance of this type of journals and the strategies that this publication has followed to raise his quality, visibility and impact. They present the principal characteristics of this journal and the evolution that has experimented. The importance of the strategy is outlined of co-edition as a tool to possess journals of major quality, visibility and impact in countries as the Latin Americans.
