摘要
Recent years, the transformation of resource-exhausted cities and its research have never died out by the relevant scholars of domestic and foreign. The governments all over the world also attach great importance to the transformation of resource-exhausted cities and seek alternative industry. Facing this world-wild problem, with the continuous development of the tourism industry and its industrial properties, which make it to be a feasible choice for resource-exhausted cities as alternative industry. On the basis of understanding the significance of tourism development for transformation of resource-exhausted cities and analyzing successful experiences from tourism development of resource-exhausted cities at home and abroad, then the strategic thinking of tourism development in resourceexhausted cities are summarized.
