An improved algorithm for maneuvering target tracking in clutter

摘要
The algorithm of Kalman filtering was introduced firstly. Then an improved algorithm aimed at the disadvantage of the traditional VD and IMM was put forward. The algorithm based on the convergence of Kalman filtering, and reached the tracking performance of IMM with small computation. Monte-Carlo simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has the advantages: smaller memory, faster data processing speed and better real-time tracking ability. The method can efficiently track maneuvering target and be easily implemented.
