摘要
In the literature, little attention is paid to designing and analyzing novel one dimensional chaotic mappings. In our previous efforts, we have tried a lot of unimodal mappings and hardly found any chaotic property for most of them. In this paper, besides translation & scale (already adopted before), we employ another elementary transformation, i.e. fold, to obtain a variant of Sigmoid Function. Both Bifurcation Diagram & Lyapunov Exponent Spectrum manifest that the new mapping possesses wonderful chaotic properties. Then, a pseudorandom bit generator is designed based on it. Pseudorandom tests demonstrate that the mapping is the 3rd best one so far. It owns great application prospect.
