摘要
There is an argument regarding the aetiology and pathology of the so called 'dorsal defect of the patella'. We present three cases discussing pathological macro and microscopical findings and conclude that the aetiology is an ischemic episode followed by subchondral collapse and consequent active reparative reaction.
