摘要
In the automation of monitoring the status of cutting process, it is very important to monitor cutting vibration and tool failure. It has been found that the variance, autocorrelation function and autoregressive coefficient of dynamic cutting force are most sensitive to the status variation in the cutting process and closely related with the cutting vibration or tool wear, and can effectively be used in the pattern recognition of monitoring the cutting vibration or tool wear.
