摘要：
A 50-year-old man presented for his first screening colonoscopy. A 5-mm lesion with normal overlying mucosa and a yellow appearance was found in the mid rectum (Figs. 1 and 2). The lesion was removed completely with a snare (Fig. 3). Histology revealed a well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumor (carcinoid) with negative margins.
