摘要
Portable devices, such as laptops and mobile phones, have become prevalent in the recent years, especially in the educational campus environment. However, there is a gap in utilizing these devices, for assessment purposes, so as to foster portability and interactive engagement with students as well as to promote paperless environment in order to reduce its associated carbon footprint. The aim of this smart assessment tool is to allow the faculty to customize a set of questions (for quiz or feedback purposes), and propagate them, in real time, to their targeted students' mobile devices, such as laptops or mobile phones, for their individual inputs. Such a tool will change the presence of mobile phones, especially during lecture times, from undesirable disruptive devices to educational constructive ones. Apart from its educational use, this tool has wide diverse applications in, for instance, restaurants, hotels, airports, malls, etc.
