摘要
A new dual-stator brushless doubly-fed induction motor is proposed for EV/HEV applications. With the advantages of high torque density, wide torque-speed range, synchronous motor-like characteristics, robust rotor configuration and low cost as a result of no permanent magnets, the proposed configuration exhibits promising potential as a traction motor in EV/HEV. The possible topology, rotor winding connection, power flow in a variety of operating modes and variable speed capability are discussed. A prototype machine is designed and its electromagnetic characteristics are demonstrated by finite element analysis (FEA). The feasibility is verified by an equivalent experiment.
