摘要
An improved full bridge converter that features reduced circulating current is presented in this paper. Two split capacitors, two transformers and an improved rectifier stage have been added in the modified converter. Different form traditional phase-shift converters, the proposed converter is controlled by asymmetrical PWM signals. This converter can greatly reduce the circulating current during the freewheeling period. Although the circulating current is reduced, all switches can still achieve ZVS. In addition, the load power is equally shared between the two transformers. And the current ripple of the output filter inductor is also reduced. The volume of the transformers and the output filter inductor can be optimized. What's more, this converter can meet short circuit and soft start-up cases. Finally, a 1kW prototype is built to verity the proposed converter.
