A theoretical study on the interaction of technology innovation and organizational culture

摘要
Technological innovation (TI) is increasingly recognized as the key underpinning resource. Recent research shows that without a clear organizational culture (OC), TI will hardly develop in a satisfactory manner. OC has been recognized as an important determinant within TI and this interaction needs to be better understood. Based on the former researches, this paper describes the characteristics of different kinds of TI and OC and therefore puts forward 6 propositions which suggest theoretically that different OCs have different influence on different TI. These propositions help us understand the conditions, functions and interaction of OC in the process of TI in a better way, and give some guidance for the successful implementation of TI.
