Children with HIV/AIDS experience problems that may limit their developmental level which is often associated with the disease process, family problems and limited resources. In order to analyze the problems of children with HIV/AIDS, a secondary analysis was conducted. Problems experienced by these children with HIV/AIDS clustered around the following themes; developmental status; family structures; health status; progression of disease; and emotional status. Children with caregivers, who were better able to achieve problem resolution, often had fewer problems.
