Energy Efficient Node Deployment for WSN to Enhance QoS

摘要
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) consists of n number of nodes which are deployed randomly and have a static location to monitor the environment. To collect streams of information in static WSN, a unique hierarchical strategy called graded node is deployed, that implements minimum traffic, simply sufficient for coverage. To transmit data to sink, the minimum cost and the energy efficient path has to be constructed. To achieve energy efficient path, the nodes has to be deployed and graph has to be constructed to deliver the network traffic to sink in multipath. In the proposed system and grade node deployment strategy is implemented to achieve the above parameters of the network and to reach sink node through minimum hop count and to balance the energy in the nodes, thus extending the lifespan of the network. Further to increase the quality of service an energy saving technique is tuned up in the MAC layer and wireless physical layer, and also parameters are varied to achieve less delay and less energy consumption. Studying the results of simulation and analysis shows that the deployed model results in large increase in lifetime of a network. Hence, this system offers a wonderful cost-efficient and best energy-efficient solution regarding deployment and routing of nodes in massive wireless sensor networks to control for longer period of time.
